Where is the Yoga Shala located?

We are located on 455 Judah street in San Francisco. Right down the road on Irving there are lots of great coffee shops and restaurants for you to visit and UCSF is right up the block.

What should I bring?

Most importantly bring your shiny self into the studio in some clothes you can move comfortable in and that you can sweat in. Pack a water bottle, yoga mat, and maybe even a towel. If you forget those things, we’ve got you!

What type of facilities does the Yoga Shala have?

We have a heated yoga studio, 2 showers and one bathroom.

Do you have rentals?

Yes, we have a limited amount of towels for rent and mats for rent for $3 each.

What if I have never done yoga?

We promise you are in great hands. In fact, all of our teachers had once never done yoga as well. While our practice will challenge you and bring you to your edge, it is accessible for all levels.

Is there parking?

There is a fair amount of street parking, and a bus that drops off and picks up right in front of our studio, but give yourself ample time to get here.

How do I pause or cancel my membership?

  • To cancel or pause your membership, you must notify us by sending an email to theyogashalasf@gmail.com at least two weeks prior to the next billing cycle.

  • If the cancellation request is received less than two weeks before the next billing cycle, the cancellation will be effective from the following billing cycle.

  • Once your membership is canceled, you can rejoin at the current rate listed on the pricing page.

  • A pause can last for up to 2 months and you will maintain your legacy rate.

Do you issue refunds?

  1. Refund Policy:

    • We do not issue refunds for purchases made on our platform, including products, services, or memberships, except under specific circumstances as required by law.

    • In exceptional cases, such as technical errors or mistakes on our part, we may consider issuing a refund at our discretion. Please contact us via email at theyogashalasf@gmail.com to discuss the issue.

    • Any issued refund will incur a 10% service fee.

  2. Account Credit:

    • If you are dissatisfied with a purchase or a service, we are more than willing to provide you with an account credit for the same value, which you can use for future purchases on our platform.

    • The account credit will be valid for a specific period, typically 12 months from the date of issue.

  3. Prohibited Refund Requests:

    • Refund requests based on change of mind or personal preference will not be entertained.

    • We cannot issue refunds for services that have been substantially consumed or completed.
